Gosh, it was around 1991 - I had just passed my driving test after an intensive driving course over the Easter break.  Darren has seen a second hand Fiesta in the Ford garage he was working at, as an engineer.  Mum and I caught the coach up to Shropshire to stay with Sarah and Darren and purchase my first ever car: Blue Ford Fiesta, Rego: F392 FCA. 

We purchased the car and were planning to drive back to Camberley on Sunday morning to miss all the traffic.  However I decided we needed to stay for Sarah's legendary Sunday Roasts.  You weren't too happy with the ideal of driving back in rush hour, but you bit your tongue and we stayed for dinner and drive home in the peak of traffic.  You kept your calm and guided me through the busy motorways.  It was a relief to us both when we got home unscathed and a bit traumatised by the experience.  Fond memories of a patient, loving and caring mum.  xx
